Our Team
Ezo Snowsports was founded by Kaito from Japan, and Tobi from Denmark. We mix together both international and Japanese ski cultures, combining world-class certifications with local knowledge of Hokkaido’s best terrain and world famous powder snow.

Bio
Originally from Osaka, Japan, I fell in love with the outdoors of Hokkaido and have chosen to stay here. I’ve spent years mastering the local mountains and enjoy sharing my expertise with riders of all levels.
I use my strong understanding of Hokkaido’s unique snow conditions and terrain to help skiers and snowboarders improve their technique while exploring the best powder that Hokkaido has to offer. I have a passion for teaching and love for the mountains. My goal is to make every lesson a fun and amazing experience for you!

Bio
I’m originally from Denmark and have spent over 9 seasons skiing around the world. The majority of those seasons have been in Japan, where I was drawn in by the incredible powder and culture.
I am excited that I get to teach others and share the joy of skiing here in Hokkaido. I chose Rusutsu as the home for my ski instructing because of it’s world-class terrain, deep snow, and uncrowded slopes offering the perfect setting for both progression and adventure. And of course, the tasty 7/11 snacks as well.

Are there any age restrictions?
Yes.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult or have a consent form signed. For private lessons, if there are no adults in the group then the maximum group size is 3 children.Where is the meeting place?
The meeting place can be customized to your needs. We will confirm the meeting place with you after you have placed a booking.
Is there a shuttle service?
If you require transportation to the meeting place, please let us know when you complete your booking.
Do you have gear for rent?
We do not have rental gear available. There are rental shops available near the ski resort. Please let us know if you need more information.
Is it okay for beginners?
Of course! We will provide easy to understand and thorough lessons even if you’ve never skied or snowboarded before 🙂
How many times will we take the chair lift?
The number of times you take the char lift will vary depending on your level, physical strength, and the conditions. Even beginners can enjoy it from the first day – we will teach you how to take the chair lift!
What is the cancellation fees?
The cancellation fees are as follows:
On the day: 100% Fee
The day before: 80% Fee
7 days before: 50% Fee
> 8 days before: 0% Fee
